Welcome to Discovery Creative Pathways (DCP) – Redford, a tuition-free, K–8 public charter school proudly managed by Phalen Leadership Academies. We provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where every scholar is encouraged to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

At DCP Redford, we combine personalized instruction, small class sizes, and comprehensive enrichment programs to ensure every child receives the support they need to succeed. From our academic interventions in math and reading to after-school activities like robotics, dance, and tutoring, scholars experience learning that inspires curiosity and confidence. At DCP Redford, we are preparing confident, capable scholars—ready to lead, serve, and thrive in school and beyond.

At DCP Redford, our data-driven instruction and small-group learning ensure every scholar receives personalized support that builds academic growth, confidence, and curiosity. Through engaging, hands-on learning, we prepare students to think critically, work collaboratively, and lead with purpose.

DCP Redford offers a wide range of enriching opportunities—including robotics, dance, tutoring, sports, and more—designed to support the whole child. Scholars enjoy 1:1 technology access, free transportation, nutritious meals, and a complimentary summer learning program through Summer Advantage. Families can also benefit from free job training and career development through SkilledUS, supporting success for the entire household.

McKinney-Vento Act

The McKinney-Vento Act protects scholars from discrimination based on their lack of a permanent residence. Homeless Scholars are eligible to receive a variety of services including: transportation services, free meals under the school nutrition programs, limited English proficiency class, gifted and talented programs, and special education services based on a scholar’s eligibility. Homeless Scholars will not be denied enrollment based on lack of proof of residency. Please consult the McKinney-Vento Act Liaison if you need assistance.
